Debra Webb

Debra is a senior Respiratory Physiotherapist who specialises in conditions resulting in acute and chronic breathlessness, retained secretions and poor lung function.

These conditions include Bronchiectasis, Cystic Fibrosis, Chronic Bronchitis, Emphysaema, Asthma and Hyperventilation syndrome.  Debra also has many years of experience in post operative respiratory rehabilitation, following Abdominal, Throat, Cardiac, Chest and ENT Surgery.  She also has a great deal of involvement in the management of tracheostomy patients in Manchester.  In addition, she has a part time lecturing post at the University of Salford where she lectures on Respiratory Physiotherapy and Intensive Care.

Debra trained at the Queen Elizabeth Medical School at the University of Birmingham and has worked in many large teaching hospitals around the country.

She has specialised in Respiratory Physiotherapy and Intensive Care for the last twelve years.

Prior to having her family Debra was regularly involved with educating other physiotherapist and Health Professionals around the North West of England in the management and care of many respiratory conditions.

Out of work Debra enjoys her young family and  outdoor activities including skiing.
