Jane trained at Withington Hospital, Manchester and with a career spanning over 25 years across a broad spectrum of physiotherapy Jane’s experience covers areas ranging from Women’s Health, working in GP’s surgeries to Neurology, Acupuncture, Pilates and Musculoskeletal work. Jane has been at Katie Copeland’s Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic for over 20 years and spends 2 clinics a week working with a mixed caseload including TMJ Dysfunction (jaw), Complex Regional Pain, Spinal Disorders, Connective Tissue and Muscle Imbalance problems as well as post-operative orthopaedic and sports injury work.
She is also a member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP) and regularly uses acupuncture as part of her treatment programme.
Jane is also Manager at Chester’s MS Support Centre in Saltney, working with people who have long-term neurological conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s and ME. This gives her a thorough understanding of normal and adaptive patterns of movement, and how a hands-on approach can help to release and re-educate soft tissue following accident or trauma.
Outside of work Jane enjoys dog walking, swimming, Pilates and her five children!
