Tony has over 21 years experience having graduated with a BSC (Hons) Physiotherapy at Coventry University in 1998. During his time he has gained a wealth of experience working within the NHS, the Royal Air Force and numerous Sports Injuries Clinics. He has extensive experience treating sports teams and professional Sportsperson’s whilst within the RAF, the Halton Tennis Academy and National League 1 rugby teams. As well as working at Katie Copeland Physiotherapy Clinic he works within the NHS as a Band 8a Advanced MSK Practitioner.
Tony is committed to continual professional development and has an extensive and varied postgraduate portfolio ensuring that he keeps up to date with current theories and best practice. In 2013 he completed his post graduate diploma in manual therapy at Manchester Metropolitan University and is now a member of the MACP. He is also qualified in acupuncture and is a member of the acupuncture governing body AACP. He recently completed a post-graduate course in injection therapy and implements these skill in his Band 8a Advanced MSK Practitioner in Mid-Cheshire NHS.
Using a number of skills he is able to assess and treat all musculoskeletal conditions ranging from everyday aches and pains to implementing rehabilitation programs for the sporting population. His current passion is injury prevention and optimising sports performance through the Spartanova screening tool which he has undergone specialist training for.
Tony is a proud father of 2 and in his past timeis a keen cyclist and a coach of the Christleton Newscene Under 7 Football team.
