About The Clinic

Previously known as Katie Copeland Physiotherapy limited, the clinic was founded in 1987 and by virtue of its excellent reputation has grown from strength to strength.

Bridgegate Physiotherapy is situated on Lower Bridge Street in the heart of Chester City Centre. We are just a stones throw from River Dee where the Old Dee Bridge crosses from Handbridge and near the Bridgegate of the medieval walls.

The newly refurbished clinic with modern facilities provides the perfect setting in which we can help our patients achieve their health and fitness goals.

Katie Copeland requires little introduction but here goes. Our former clinic director qualified in Manchester in 1982 and after working in the NHS at the Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham and in Wythenshawe Hospital Manchester she has been in private practice ever since. In 1987 she founded Katie Copeland Physiotherapy Clinic on Lower Bridge Street, Chester.

She is a ‘hands on’ therapist and uses Pilates exercises as part of her patients treatment/rehabilitation.
